Joe Lanser brings nearly 30 years of financial experience to Lake Area Mortgage. Starting his career in the banking industry in 1981, Joe moved to the secondary mortgage market as an analyst in 1984. Since that time has held various positions in the areas of mortgage lending, operations and senior management.

 

Staying on the leading edge of product availability, underwriting guidelines and technology is very important to Joe. His commitment to the technical aspect of the industry, along with his desire to help people and listen to their needs, result in the best loan product for the homebuyer.

 

Joe has served in several leadership roles for the Minnesota Association of Mortgage Brokers and was a State Legislative Liaison for the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. Most recently he chaired the technology committee for the Mortgage Association of Minnesota.
